Pros
- Hassle-free returns
- Same-day local pickup
Cons
- No international shipping
- Limited selection of specialty and hard-to-find parts
We rolled up to Houston Auto Parts feeling like a bunch of gearheads on a mission, and let’s tell you, this place didn’t disappoint. From the second we walked in, we were greeted by a team of pros who were ready to help us.
They’ve got everything from engine parts to suspension components. It’s like walking into an automotive candy store, and we couldn’t wait to get our hands dirty.
We were surprised to find Houston Auto Parts had some of the most competitive prices in the city. We felt ecstatic because we were getting a steal, without having to sacrifice quality.
They also know how to treat their customers. From the friendly staff to the knowledgeable technicians, we felt like we were part of the family.
They took the time to listen to our needs and make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. They seemed like our personal pit crew, and we couldn’t be happier.
Bad news, though: Houston Auto Parts isn’t doing much for globetrotters. Despite their killer selection of auto parts, they don’t offer international shipping.
Moreover, we came to them expecting to find rare gems, but we left feeling like we struck out. Their selection of specialty and hard-to-find parts was seriously lacking.
If you’re in Houston and you’re in need of auto parts, do yourself a favor and head to Houston Auto Parts. They’ve got the variety, cost, and customer service that’ll make you feel like you’re living in a Fast and Furious movie.

Pros
- In-store shopping
- In-store pick-up
Cons
- Limited availability for customers outside of Houston
- Quality of parts may vary depending on supplier
We took a ride through the wild world of Airline Auto Parts in Houston, and it had been quite the journey.
The variety of services was like a buffet of car parts. Whether you need a new engine or just some spark plugs, these guys have got you covered.
But what good is variety if the parts aren’t available when you need them? Fear not, because they’re always stocked up and ready to go.
It’s like they have their own personal genie who grants their wish for unlimited car parts. We don’t know how they do it, but we’re pretty sure they have a secret vault that would make even Indiana Jones jealous.
We know car parts can be expensive, but Airline is pretty reasonable. Honestly, that made us do a happy dance.
All of these things would be for naught if the customer service wasn’t up to snuff. Thankfully, the folks here are top-notch — they’re helpful and always willing to go the extra mile, which impressed us.
However, we’re a little bummed out by their limited availability for customers outside of Houston. If you’re not in Houston and can’t get to the shop, try buying online or looking elsewhere.
Depending on the supplier, the quality of their parts may also be hit or miss. It’s like playing a game of roulette with our car parts — but instead of winning big, we just want our cars to run smoothly.
Overall, we give Airline Auto Parts a thumb up. They’ve got the variety, availability, cost, and customer service we look for.

Pros
- Curbside pickup
- Delivery
- Extensive selection of auto parts and accessories
Cons
- Inconsistent customer service experiences
- Return policy can be strict
AutoZone Auto Parts is a rockstar of the industry. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted by a team of experts who were ready to help us find everything we needed for our car.
The store was stocked to the brim with a variety of parts and accessories, from oil filters to spark plugs and everything in between. We felt like we were in a museum, but for cars.
The availability of the products was impressive, and we didn’t have to wait long to find what we needed. The team at AutoZone was lightning-fast and had us in and out of the store in no time.
The cost of the products was more affordable than we expected. We even got killer deals on top-notch products.
Additionally, the team at AutoZone was eager to help us with any questions we had. They even offered us tips and tricks to help maintain our car and keep it running smoothly, which put a smile on our faces.
While the selection at AutoZone is great, their customer service can be hit or miss. We’ve had some great experiences, but the inconsistent service can be a real bummer.
Their return policy was also a headache. We get it, they have rules to follow, but the process was so tedious it left a bad mark on us.
Overall, we had a good experience at AutoZone Auto Parts. We left feeling like we had just won the Indy 500, with all the tools we needed to keep our car running like a champ.

Pros
- Accepts credit cards
- Offers military discount
- Open to all
Cons
- Doesn’t require masks
- Long wait times
As car enthusiasts, we’re always on the lookout for the best auto parts stores in the city, and let’s tell you, O’Reilly stood out from the rest.
Whether you need to buy new parts, get your battery or electrical system tested, or recycle your used oil, O’Reilly has got you covered. Their loaner tool program was a lifesaver for us who like to do our own repairs.
We were blown away by how well-stocked the store was.
Whatever we needed, they had it in stock, and if they didn’t, they were able to get it for us within a day or two. That’s the kind of service we like to see.
But what about the cost?
Trust us, we’ve done our excavation, and O’Reilly’s prices are more than fair. They even offered a price match guarantee, so we knew we were getting the best deal possible.
We also had a little bit of fun joking around with them about our favorite pop culture references from the auto industry.
While their service was great, the long wait times were a bit of a bummer, too. It’s inconvenient for those who have to make a long drive just to get there.
Moreover, their limited store hours put a damper on our experience. If you’re planning on buying your auto parts here, come early.
All in all, we can’t recommend O’Reilly Auto Parts enough. Their variety of services, availability, and cost, are truly trustworthy.

Pros
- Drive-thru system
- Generate large amounts of energy with minimal emissions
Cons
- Not enough seating during peak hours
- Doesn’t offer additional services such as oil changes
Hey there gearheads and grease monkeys — if you’re in Houston and looking for all your auto parts needs, look no further than NAPA Auto Parts.
This place has got air filters and windshield wipers. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they’ll order it for you faster than a ’68 Mustang can go from 0 to 60.
We loved NAPA because their service is more reliable than a Honda Civic with 300,000 miles on it.
Fixing up our rides can put a dent in our wallets, but NAPA offered competitive prices that didn’t leave us feeling like we just got taken for a ride. They also gave us regular discounts that made us feel like we won the lottery.
The staff at NAPA are more helpful than a GPS system on a road trip. They helped us find what we needed, offered advice on how to fix our cars, and even threw in free samples.
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, though, but we gotta say it: NAPA could use a few more chairs. Trying to find a spot to sit during peak hours is like trying to find a needle in a haystack — it’s a real bummer.
In addition, they don’t offer additional services like oil changes. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop, you might want to keep cruising down the road.
Despite these drawbacks, NAPA Auto Parts is a real MVP of auto parts in Houston. If you want to get your car running smoother than a Vin Diesel movie, head on over to NAPA.
