The Riot Comedy Club started in 2020 as a small show at Rudyard’s British Pub and has grown into one of the city’s top comedy spots, hosting hundreds of shows every year and even its own festival.

The Good Friend Theater—home of ComedySportz—is a great place to go for a night full of laughs in Houston. Known for its quick, family-friendly improv and fun crowd, it’s a club where everyone can relax and enjoy a good show.

After nine years downtown, the theater moved to west Houston, offering more space, easy parking, and a full bar. 

The main show brings two teams of comedians together in a friendly “battle” of jokes and games. Every show is different because the audience helps shape the scenes.

The Coronation Theater in Houston’s East End is a small improv theater that has become a favorite spot for comedy fans since opening in 2023.

The only small downside is that the restrooms are in a nearby building, but the theater itself is clean and cozy.

Five actors perform a Shakespeare play, but one of them takes five shots of whiskey before the show starts. What happens next is wild, funny, and full of surprises.
