One of our favorite spots to visit during the autumn season is Barton Hill Farms, where the Fall Festival, Pumpkin Patch, and Corn Maze celebrations have thrived for 11 years. Every year, they decorate and arrange a maze on their 5 acre corn fields.

Each corn maze is thoughtfully designed with a theme with their most recent one a tribute to Matthew McConaughey. The path inside the maze spelled out Mazed and Confused when viewed from a bird’s eye view. 

Pro Tip:
The entrance fee grants you access to most of the installations and activities within the farm, so we recommend you make the most of your trip and spend the whole day there. The kids can have fun gardening, picking berries, and strolling through fields.

The Circle S Acres offer a bunch of farm related activities that you can try with entry to their location in Texas. The crowd favorite activity is the corn maze where you can embark on a riveting journey through the confusing but entertaining twists and turns. 

The corn maze spans 4 acres to make sure you get your fill of exploring. They also have other activities for the kids like a pumpkin patch where they can pick and choose their own pumpkins and carve them afterwards to take home. 

Pro Tip:
It can get pretty hot in the corn maze during the afternoons with the sun shining overhead, so we recommend going into it in the late afternoon when the heat isn’t as intense, but there’s still some light left for you to explore.

Nestled in the picturesque countryside west of Katy, Dewberry Farm is the perfect destination for fall lovers like us. With a diverse array of activities including pumpkin patches, a haunted house after dark, and the iconic corn maze.

You’ll find it the moment you step foot into the farm. It’s hard to miss seeing as it measures 8 acres in size The 8-acre corn maze which changes every year popular variations featuring Houston Astros’ rallying cry, Ready2Reign.

Adults can have a fun time ax throwing while the kids can get acquainted with the animals at the barn on site. 

Pro Tip:
With the sheer amount of activities to try and sights to see at the Dewberry Farm, we suggest you stay there from opening to closing. To make your stay more comfortable, you can avail of their tent rentals so you have a base to rest in in between adventures.

On the expansive fields of Froberg’s Farm, conquering the challenge of their sprawling corn maze is just the tip of the iceberg of all the fun fall activities you can try there. 

Try to keep your eyes peeled for photo-worthy moments, especially the scarecrow that acts as the farm’s unofficial mascot. After enjoying the corn maze, we suggest going to the flower garden and picking some blooms. 

They also have a cotton patch, paintball field, a sandpit, and a canon shooting range to try while you’re there. 

Pro Tip:
The team behind Froberg’s Farm take the safety of their visitors seriously, so they often announce that the farm won’t be accepting people when affected by weather conditions. Make sure you stay updated by following their Facebook page.

At P-6 Farms, the vision of blending agricultural education with farm life experiences comes to life through. Not to mention that they were the first ones to create a corn maze in the local region. 

Every Halloween, they put a twist on the corn maze by making it extra spooky. After dark, only adults are allowed entrance with staff members dressed in scary costumes strolling around the maze waiting for the perfect moment to give you a good scare. 

If you’d rather get lost in a maze of flowers, the P-6 Farms also has a sunflower maze that you can try. 

Pro Tip:
They serve great snacks at the P-6 Farm. We recommend trying the freshly popped popcorn that they grow and dry right on the farm itself, the drinks that they serve in an iconic cowboy boot mug, and the variety of refreshing drinks they have on tap.

The expansive corn maze at the Rocky Creek Maze is perfect if you want to embark on an exhilarating outdoor escapade. 

Their corn mazes are known to be designed intricately for perfect drone shot views while still being challenging enough to explore while you’re inside of it.  

The plethora of attractions waiting to be discovered there from heart-pounding slides to leisurely hayrides, a whimsical barrel train, and a bouncy jumping pillow, makes for a fun day out playing in the sun.

Pro Tip:
The family who owns the Rocky Creek Maze also owns a dairy farm nearby where you can get fresh milk and milk byproducts like cheese, yogurt, and cream for a discounted price after visiting the maze. You can ask any of the staff there where it is!

The Rockin’ K Farms hold a Fall Festival every year for families and friends to enjoy autumn themed activities. It features a must have pumpkin patch, backyard games, farm animal interactions, train rides, and a cannon kids can launch apples from.

But, the star of the show each year is their huge corn maze, which is actually just one of the 3 that they have on site along with a pumpkin and a sunflower one. The corn maze is always decorated beautifully, with the stalks of corn reaching 6 to 7 feet in height. 

Pro Tip:
Try the concessions scattered around the farm that sell everything from light snacks for mid day breaks, drinks to quench your thirst under the Texas heat, all the way to full meals like grilled cheese sandwiches and smoked turkey legs.

Hardcore Texans and Texas lovers will find a home in Sweet Berry Farm, where you’ll find a 4 acre corn field shaped like the Lone Star State itself. Aside from being visually stunning, the team behind the Sweet Berry Farm added an element of adventure too. 

You’re given a sort of treasure hunt card before entering. Inside the corn maze, you’ll find locations scattered throughout with markers that you need to find. There’a a unique hole puncher in each one that you use to punch a hole into your card. 

After completing, the next goal is to find the exit and have the staff check your card for a prize! 

Pro Tip:
If you prefer a more straightforward corn maze experience, they also have a Banyard Maze in the shape of a simple rectangle that’s easier to navigate. The Candy Corn Maze on site is also great for younger kids where they ring a bell and exit!

Sweet Eats Adventure Farm puts a twist on traditional corn mazes with their Flashlight Corn Maze. Exactly like its name suggests, you’ll need a flashlight and a brave heart to traverse through the 4.5 acre corn maze at night. 

If you hate the dark like we do, you’ll be glad to know that you’re also allowed to trek the rows of the maze in the morning hours in the safety of sunlight. 

Your all access pass grants you access to over 30 events,like pig races, a petting zoo, pony and wagon rides, and live music shows! 

Pro Tip:
We suggest going there on Fridays or Saturdays and staying until after dark. On these two nights, the Sweet Eats Adventure Farm puts on fireworks shows for their visitors.

YesterLand Farm has over 30 attractions on site from slides installed onto the side of an old silo to mini amusement park rides. But, one of their best ones is their corn maze. As the only corn maze in the immediate area, the 3 acre maze is pretty popular. 

The corn stalks rise up pretty tall, while the path is consistently well maintained for easy navigation. And at night, the maze transforms into the Creepy Corn Maze for an extra layer of excitement and an amplified feeling of the unknown. 

Pro Tip:
If your schedule is flexible, we suggest you visit during October where there are extra activities, some of which need tokens ($5 each) to participate in. You’ll save more by getting the super admission ticket which already grants you 5 tokens.
