In fact, the doctors even called the next day to check in on us and advise us on recovery and maintenance practices. 

We must warn you, though, that the professionalism and courteousness of the doctors may not extend to its admin staff. Although we did not experience it during our visit, some customers have been greeted unkindly by the clinic’s front desk clerks and appointment setters. 

For a clinic of this scale, we expect great customer service all throughout — from the second we walk in to the day after our procedures. We wouldn’t consider this a deal-breaker, but we really hope the clinic trains front desk staff to be kinder and more welcoming. 

SBA Dermatology has the biggest service menu we’ve seen to date. It caters to various skin conditions, from acne to skin cancer, and even has a cosmetic dermatology department for body shaping and hair restoration procedures. 

In an effort to learn more about skin conditions and curate treatments for them, the clinic has a group of board-certified dermatologists spearheading dermatology research. This allows the clinic to provide innovative treatments that render real results. 

With a service menu this large, we thought that the clinic would be too busy to give every patient the utmost care and attention they deserve. But we were happy to see how the doctors were extremely calm and courteous despite the rush. 

The dermatologists are professional and will provide each patient with a thorough explanation of their skin conditions and the procedures that will be conducted. They are also very patient when it comes to answering questions and making patients feel more confident. 

With innovative treatments, professional dermatologists, and a modern clinic, however, comes a steep price point. SBA is one of the most expensive dermatology clinics in Houston. 

And do note that most of the treatments it offers require various sessions before you can notice visible results. So that racks up the prices even more. 

If you’re on a budget, then this may not be the right dermatologist for you. But if you’re ready to shell out thousands of dollars for skin treatments, then SBA is a leading option. 

The moment we walked into Elite Dermatology’s clinic, we were welcomed by a nice, modern ambiance and warm atmosphere. From the get-go, we noticed how clean the clinic was and immediately felt at home sitting in the comfortable waiting area. 

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the waiting time so pleasant. This level of professionalism and courteousness extends to the doctors as well. 

The dermatologists are highly knowledgeable in their craft, which is evident in how they explain the skin conditions and procedures thoroughly. The way they communicate made us feel confident in the procedure and eliminated any fear or nervousness. 

They made sure all of our questions were answered, so every patient would walk in with full knowledge of what to expect. You’ll be confident that you are in the hands of a skillful and caring dermatologist. 

We really like how the dermatologists spent time explaining our options and gave us an overview of how much the entire treatment plan would cost before beginning any treatment. We think that anyone would appreciate this level of honesty and genuineness. 

We did notice, however, that the Houston branch of this dermatology clinic was rather short-staffed compared to the branch they have in Katy. At peak hours, the waiting time can take a while. 

Because of the limited manpower, both the front desk clerks and dermatologists also have the tendency to be disorganized and chaotic when faced with an influx of customers. 

When visiting Elite Dermatology, we recommend setting an appointment beforehand to secure your time slot or visiting right when they open to avoid long waiting times and rushing staff.

More than its plethora of treatments, what we really enjoyed about this clinic is the composure and professionalism of its dermatologists. They are the friendliest and most helpful we’ve seen, making every visit a refreshing experience.

The dermatologists even take their time to discuss the ingredients of every skincare product and recommend tips on how to apply them step-by-step. We don’t think we’ve seen attention to detail quite like this, which we really appreciate. 

We must say, however, that before you get to experience the outstanding patient care that the dermatologists have to offer, you have to be a little more patient than usual with their phone representatives and front desk staff. 

They have the tendency to be hesitant about answering questions regarding the procedures and will instead refer you to their dermatologists. This comes with an extra consultation cost. 

Speaking to the phone representatives and front desk staff, you won’t really get answers that will help you gauge whether or not the clinic can help you with your specific skin needs. But you’ll gain more insights when you speak to a dermatologist.

The only thing we wish the dermatologists here had is more experience. A track record is something that we value, and with that comes a long history of experience in the industry.
