Pros
- Skilled fitness instructors
- Top-of-the line equipment
- Fun kickboxing class
Cons
- Expensive
- Cluttered gym layout
We've heard great things about O Athletik. Many told us about their clean facility, well-maintained equipment, and friendly staff.
When we checked out O Athletik, we thought it was great that they had a wide selection of cardio machines, weightlifting, and functional fitness equipment.
One thing that immediately stood out to us was the quality of their cardio machines. They had a variety of top-of-the-line treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes that were all modern and well-maintained.
The weightlifting area was equally impressive, with many free weights available.
Another aspect of the gym we really liked was its emphasis on functional fitness. O Athletik had an extensive area dedicated to functional training, complete with kettlebells, TRX bands, and other equipment designed to help members improve their strength and flexibility for everyday activities.
However, what we particularly thought was noteworthy were the kickboxing classes offered at O Athletik. We noted that the instructors were highly skilled and experienced and did an excellent job catering to students of all levels.
We thought the kickboxing class we took was challenging yet fun. We also had plenty of opportunities to practice the techniques we learned in sparring sessions.
However, one of the primary issues we had with O Athletik was the cost. This gym can be quite expensive, especially for those on a tight budget.
Another issue we had with O Athletik was the gym's layout. While plenty of space for working out and equipment was available, the gym felt cluttered and unorganized at times.
This made navigating through the gym difficult, especially since we were new to the facility.

Pros
- Frequently cleaned and sanitized
- Weekly bodybuilding classes
- Approachable personal trainers
Cons
- Crowded
We recently visited The Gym to assess the facilities and services provided to its customers.
For starters, we noted that the gym got incredibly crowded during peak hours. This made it difficult for us to find available equipment, which was frustrating as we like to have a set workout routine.
Despite this, we observed their staff members frequently cleaning and sanitizing the equipment and facilities. We also noted that the changing rooms and showers were clean and well-maintained.
Furthermore, we thought it was great that bodybuilding classes and personal trainers were available to us.
In the bodybuilding class we tried, we liked how the trainer was experienced and knowledgeable, with a keen understanding of the latest fitness trends. He challenged and motivated the class to meet their daily fitness goal.
We also thought it was great that their bodybuilding classes are available throughout the week, making it convenient for other gym goers to find a class that fits their schedule easily.
Moreover, we found that their personal trainers were highly qualified. We liked how they created a customized workout plan for us that suited our needs and goals.
Plus, the trainers we had were friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us make progress.

Pros
- Adequate weightlifting session
- Great treadmills and cardio equipment
- Challenging yoga classes
Cons
- High membership fees
- Overcrowded in the evening
We had the opportunity to visit Be Fit Gym and thoroughly evaluate their services.
We thought the gym had everything a fitness enthusiast could ask for.
One thing we noticed was the fine quality of the gym equipment. Each machine was well-maintained and clean, indicating to us that the gym takes hygiene and safety seriously.
The weightlifting section of the gym was adequately stocked with all kinds of dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells. We also liked that it had a good variety of weight plates and bench presses, which is essential to meet the diverse needs of gym-goers.
Moreover, the gym had a range of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes for cardio enthusiasts, all equipped with the latest technology. The machines came with individual monitors and video streaming options, making cardio sessions enjoyable and informative.
We also liked the spacious and well-equipped yoga studio. The yoga class we took was challenging, so we thought it was helpful that the instructor had set out props such as blocks and straps for added support and safety.
We also tried their power spin class. The class was led by an experienced spin instructor who played upbeat music and encouraged all of us to push our limits.
The only downsides we could think of during our experience at Be Fit Gym were the high membership fees and overcrowding in the evening.

Pros
- Upbeat Zumba classses
- Attentive pilates instructors
- Excellent powerlifting section
Cons
- Lackluster gym decor and lighting
We recently visited Houston Gym, observed a few of their classes, and utilized some of their equipment.
One of the standout features of Houston Gym for us was its powerlifting section. They have multiple power racks and platforms, lifting blocks, and specialty bars for deadlifts and squats.
We also liked the condition and cleanliness of the equipment at Houston Gym. It was clear to see that the staff regularly maintains and repairs their machines.
As for the classes we observed, we liked how their pilates classes focused on helping newbies improve their core strength, flexibility, and balance. We noted that the instructors were knowledgeable and experienced, providing personalized attention to each participant in the class.
But of course, we saw that newbies weren't the only ones in class, which we thought was great as pilates lovers of all levels of experience could work at their own pace.
Additionally, we liked participating in their Zumba class. We got upbeat and energetic
vibes from the instructor and the students in class with us!
Plus, the music selection varied, ranging from pop hits to Latin beats, keeping the energy level high throughout the class.
However, the one thing we thought Houston Gym could improve on was the gym's decor and lighting. The overall ambiance left a lot to be desired, which could negatively impact an individual's experience and level of motivation.

Pros
- Physical therapy available
- Experienced endurance training classes
- Well-maintained gym
Cons
- No consistent operating hours
- No sauna available
Facet Seven Heights is an excellent gym option for those looking to upgrade their fitness routine. At least, that's what we heard.
We liked that the gym was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that looked like it could cater to even the most vigorous workout routines. We also thought the gym was well-maintained, clean, and designed to keep gym-goers comfortable throughout their workouts.
One thing we noted about Facet Seven Heights was the endurance training classes. We thought it was great that they had a range of classes catering to all fitness levels and all led by experienced trainers.
Another plus we liked was the physical therapy services available. From what we observed, their team of experienced therapists was well-versed in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
Their physical therapists also offered various services, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, and post-operative care.
However, the one thing we didn't like about Facet Seven Heights was that they weren't consistent in their hours of operation.
We found this inconvenient because some individuals prefer to work out during non-traditional hours or have a steady routine. Having a set workout time is difficult if the gym is closed.
Furthermore, we noted that Facet Seven Heights does not have a sauna or other amenities in larger fitness centers, which can be a dealbreaker for some gym-goers.
