First, our tester informed us they had a wonderful experience with Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa. 

They did tell us that when first booking their appointment, the staff at Hand and Stone Massage Facial Spa canceled their appointment last minute without stating the reasons. Thus, our tester needed to make another one. 

Additionally, our tester didn’t like that the phone teller tried to upsell different spa treatments when they called again to book their appointment. The customer service experience needs improvement. 

After some delay, our tester was able to secure an appointment. 

Upon entering Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, our tester was greeted by smiles and a friendly hello. 

Thankfully they didn’t need to wait long to enjoy a relaxing facial. Sydney, who did our client’s facial, was easy to talk to and light-hearted, making our client’s facial stress-free. 

Furthermore, Elizabeth, our tester’s massage therapist, made our tester feel safe and comfortable. She constantly asked questions throughout the massage to ensure she could provide our tester the best pain-relieving experience. 

We heard numerous good things about the spas at the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. Many customers bragged to us about the extensive luxurious feeling provided to all customers.

Others claimed it’s the place to go if you want to feel relaxed and pampered. After our experience at the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa, we can verify that these comments are accurate.

First, the staff at Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa went above and beyond to accommodate us and were exceptionally friendly to us. 

Tiffany and Robyn, the spa staff members who guided us throughout the two luxurious spas: Trellis Resort and Solaya City, answered our questions and made us feel comfortable before even beginning a single spa treatment. 

Furthermore, we weren’t expecting to give up our phones before entering the spa. It was weird at first but being unplugged from our technology for the day contributed to our enjoyment of all the luxuries offered. 

We started our spa experience at Solaya City by having a light lunch by the pool, with glasses of wine and a cheese board. (Yes, it was delicious.) 

Next, we tried out all the relaxation pools, the steam room, and the hot tub multiple times. The heated jacuzzis, pools, poolside service, and nap room all provided self-serve coffee and tea to quench your thirst. 

Moreover, the tranquility room lived up to its name. The tranquility room also supplied hot neck wraps, wine, and teas.

When we headed to Trellis Spa for a facial and a mani-pedi, we enjoyed the facial, but the mani-pedi was rushed. The polish was already damaged within minutes after leaving the mani-pedi station. 

On the other hand, the reflection pool was calming, and the grounds were peaceful and clean. 

Almost everyone we talked to told us about the personal and hygiene-conscious staff at Milan Luxury Medspa.

Yet when our tester called to book an appointment with Milan Luxury Medspa, the phone rang, but there was no answer. After leaving a message on the phone, our tester was informed that they no longer accept bookings through the phone. 

All bookings are made through their website instead. Note that booking the appointment online required our tester to place down a deposit that is not refundable. 

Nevertheless, our tester showed up to their appointment to avoid it being automatically canceled by the company. By the way, our tester noted that being late by just 10 minutes results in automatic cancellation and no money back. 

As soon as our tester walked through the door, they observed how clean the building was. Yes, the staff were even wearing their face masks and constantly using the sanitizer station at the reception desk. 

While our tester waited for their waxing appointment to begin, they were offered wine and snacks. 

Porshae, the owner, came out to greet our tester . She has a bubbly personality that makes conversation with her easy. 

Our tester appreciated how she answered any questions to put our client at ease before the waxing began. 

After the waxing went smoothly, our tester was led to a room to experience yoni steam. The staff constantly checked on our client and catered to all of our tester’s needs, which we really appreciated too. 

Our testers had a nerve-wracking time booking an appointment with The Luxurious Massage and Spa. They canceled our client’s appointment because they requested a female masseuse. 

Thankfully, our testers were able to secure an appointment, but it was after much hassle. So we recommend booking an appointment way in advance. 

From the moment our testers walked into The Luxurious Massage and Spa, they were welcomed by the owner, who was a ray of sunshine. Our testers were then given a robe and directed to the changing rooms. 

After changing, our testers waited for a while in the relaxing area and indulged in a complimentary drink of their choice. (No, this did not include alcohol.) 

Our clients’ feet were then washed and dried by a staff member before being led into a separate room for their massages.

The first massage therapists were informative and focused on tense areas, advising on what to do to lessen the tension in the future. From the way they spoke to our testers, their passion shone through. 

However, halfway through the massages, the massage therapists were switched out with new ones. The new ones left our testers unsatisfied as they left with tension still in their pained areas. 

Initially, we tried booking an appointment with Skin Essentials Luxury Med Spa & Salon through their online booking service. 

However, the website wasn’t displaying their available treatments and appointment times for the next several months. So, we called Skin Essentials Luxury Med Spa & Salon in hopes of quickly booking an appointment. 

After speaking with a customer representative on the phone, we received two confirmation emails to show as proof of appointment for the day of. 

We showed up early to our appointment and were informed that the aesthetician assigned to us was running behind with their previous client. We didn’t mind the short wait as the entire atmosphere was relaxing and beautifully designed. 

Additionally, everyone we spoke to on the staff was welcoming and down-to-earth. They even assisted us in adding a facial treatment before the botox. 

The facials were relaxing and left our faces feeling thoroughly clean. 

When we met with our aesthetician, she conducted a thorough consultation with us beforehand. She explained every detail about the botox treatments based on our concerns. 

Moreover, we appreciated how knowledgeable she was and how she remained calm throughout the entire experience. She numbed our lips before using lidocaine filler. 

Yes, we hardly felt anything at all—except for a slight pinch.
