We can confidently say that The Bell Tower on 34th is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Houston. Made specifically for special events like this, every single feature is made to accommodate guests and promote the smooth flow of weddings and other events. 

That means there’s little to no change you need to make in the venue, as every detail and floor plan is thoughtfully designed and functional. We love the architectural design of the space, with each room featuring lavish ceilings and elegant accents. 

The Bell Tower on 34th offers various packages, so you can choose one that matches your idea of a dream wedding. Each package comes with tables, Chiavari chairs, silverware, meals, dressing rooms, and more. 

The best thing about the venue is its lineup of wedding planners. Incredibly skilled and detail-oriented, they have helped hundreds of brides and grooms plan the perfect wedding. 


The planners are hospitable and friendly and will do everything they can to deliver what you asked for on the dot. The result is a beautifully organized wedding that reflects exactly what you asked for. 

But we should warn you that the wedding venue management is rather strict when it comes to ending the event on time. They expect you to leave the moment the agreed hour strikes, and you won’t get to stay to take photos or bond more with guests. 

We think the management shooing us away after the time slot has ended destroys the whole experience. So we hope they can be a little more lenient and grant a grace period for the guests to be able to pack up and take their final photos — they did pay a huge fee, after all.

This wedding venue in Houston has three unique wedding packages, namely the silver package, diamond package, and sapphire package. The silver package is customizable to the bride and groom's preferences, while the diamond and sapphire options are more premium. 

We appreciate the versatility of their packages to suit different budgets, needs, and preferences. This gives you the option to either choose your own caterers and organizers or leave everything to the hands of the wedding staff at The Bougainvilleas. 

The moment you walk into the Grand Ballroom, you’ll immediately notice how well-prepared and well-decorated it is. The atmosphere is beautiful and celebratory while staying elegant and formal. 

We think the organizers do a very good job planning weddings, going above and beyond to make their clients’ dreams a reality. But unfortunately, we have to say that the wedding planners’ professionalism and customer service do not generalize all the staff at The ​​Bougainvilleas. 

The servers need to be trained in basic hospitality and proper customer service in order to provide a good dining experience for the bride and groom, as well as their guests. 

We also would like for them to improve their food. Don’t get us wrong, the dishes were delicious — but in our experience, they were served rather cold, which made them unappetizing.

Paraiso Maravilla doesn’t look like your average wedding venue in Houston. Its design is an acquired taste, which admittedly is not something everyone dreams to get married in. 

From the outside, the venue looks like an abandoned building. But inside, you’ll be surprised to see how the ancient architecture was preserved. 

Everywhere you look is a nod to historical design, complemented by an overload of greeneries wrapping around the walls and pillars. Although it’s different, we actually really love the ancient Romanian vibe of the venue. 

This place is perfect for couples who are after a unique garden wedding. But it might not be to your liking if you’re dreaming of something modern and extravagant. 

Its wedding package, although not as versatile as what other venues offer, is comprehensive. It’s inclusive of the venue rental, catering, and a bar. 

You can also purchase upgrades, such as additional event time, specialty linens or napkins, candle packages, etc. But we think you won’t need these additional services as the basic package pretty much covers every wedding essential. 

Because this wedding venue is so unique, our customer service expectations were quite high. We think the staff should be more attentive and responsive to customers, who we reckon to have more questions about the venue as usual. 

Unfortunately, we don’t think the customer service meets our standards. Right off the bat, we found it hard to contact them by phone or email. 

And when we visited the place to get more inquiries, the management and staff were hesitant to entertain us. We would have appreciated more hospitality on their end.

Pelazzio provides a modern and elegant venue for weddings in Houston. Its ballroom is pristine and emits a celebratory, formal ambiance fit for weddings of any theme and whether grand or intimate. 

It offers two packages, either a venue rental or a full paradise package. In the former, you have the liberty to provide your own services, such as caterers and other vendors. 

This gives you the ability to craft your wedding how you want it. But if you’re looking for full-service wedding preparation and planning, you can choose the paradise package that’s inclusive of everything from gourmet catering and a premium bar to music and photography. 

The paradise package also comes with a wedding planner and decorating staff. They are highly skilled and have a track record of making the ballroom a beautiful place to get married. 

From our experience, every single member of the wedding team is pleasant to work with. We think their hospitality and professionalism are calming and eliminate all the stress involved in planning a wedding. 

While the wedding preparation and actual wedding day are flawless, we do have to warn about the pre-booking process. Several customers have experienced their bookings getting canceled or given away by Pelazzio management. 

This often happens when a bigger group comes along or other clients sign their contracts first. In the end, the client that has been pencil booked without payment loses their booking. 

This can be frustrating, especially with a wedding venue that becomes fully booked many months in advance. Ultimately, we think that pencil bookings that haven’t been paid should be given a grace period before the slot is offered to other clients. 

Or at the very least, there should be some sort of confirmation before a slot is given away or canceled without notice. This also stems down to how effectively the management is able to communicate — an area that this venue is not the best in.

What we really love about this company is the broad range of venue options it offers. Depending on the location you book, you can get married in a farmhouse, a manor, a lodge, an estate, a ranch, or a chateau! 

With these options, it’s safe for us to say that regardless of the bride and groom’s preferences, they will find the perfect venue for their dream wedding here. 

All wedding venues by The Springs are well-decorated and well-maintained — its detail-oriented and hospitable staff makes sure of it! Everyone, from the wedding planners to the management, is very professional and friendly, with the drive to give you your dream wedding experience. 

Although its wedding packages are very comprehensive, we like that they provide room for the bride and groom’s special requests. You can customize the package as you please to suit your preferences when it comes to vendors and themes. 

Because The Springs has become such a huge hit for weddings in Houston, we’re concerned about the attention and care that the staff can give every single client. They now manage and handle multiple weddings, which leads to the tendency of neglecting some of them. 

We also think that their refund policies are horrible. Especially during the peak of the pandemic, many weddings were canceled or rescheduled. 

Several couples we talked to said that they never got a refund of their down payment or the management required them to pay an additional fee to rebook their wedding schedules. 

Given the circumstances, they should definitely be more lenient when it comes to these things. A lot can happen before a wedding, whether it be a pandemic or bad weather, so they should be more open to rescheduling or cancellations when the need arises.

The Houston Heights Association has the Heights Fire Station and Marmion Park that they have rented out for events like weddings. 

The Heights Fire Station, or H.H.F.D. 14, is the last remaining municipal facility from the time when the Heights was its own city, and is now permanently decommissioned. 

We absolutely love its 19th century architecture! 

We also think that this is a perfect place for those who would like to have a venue that’s slightly different from the usual ones. 

They also have Marmion Park, which is one of the city’s most popular outdoor wedding venues. 

Since Houston Heights Association mainly just rents out venues, we think that this is a great alternative for those who would like to DIY their weddings and don’t care for wedding packages and the like.

We think that the Enchanted Cypress is the venue to choose for those going for the traditional, lavish wedding! 

The first thing we noticed upon entering is the chandeliers. They’re all elegant and classic, which we think is the perfect touch for a magical wedding. 

The venue boasts of a red carpet, a picturesque water fountain that leads to 18-feet tall gold leaf wrought iron doors. This is truly a dream! 

Once inside the ballroom, you’ll find that there are 15 large framed Picture Walls/Projection Screens where you can have videos and photos displayed all throughout the night as a way to make it more personal. 

It’s also great that they can help you plan your day, so that it’s less stressful on your end. They’re sure to be with you pre, during, and post your big event. 

Although the downside to this venue may be that it is a bit dark, but if it’s something you’re going for then this might just be the one for your big day.

You best believe that the moment we saw Willowynn Barn, we knew we just had to highly recommend it. This farmhouse venue is located on 18 acres of private property, and it has a chapel and many outdoor ceremony sites to choose from, plus it can hold up to 200 guests.

The entire property is absolutely beautiful and the venue pricing inclusions are a 16-hour rental period, farmhouse and round tables, linens, in-house decor, chairs and choice of multiple ceremony sites.

In addition, they also have a full catering kitchen, a veranda for cocktail hour, and an on-site shot donkey to entertain guests!

We think that they also offer pretty great packages, except that these cannot be altered or substituted.

They also offer add-ons to their packages, such as babysitters, fireplace service, and table bussers.

Try as we might, we just can't find any negative reviews about this venue.

For anyone looking for the most unique outdoor event area for their wedding, we've scoured for the best venues and found The Pavilion at Vida Bela.

This stunning venue is located on a vast 74-acre estate that has many lush trees and a berry orchard. The spacious 7200+ square-foot indoor pavilion has wide windows that provides a great view of the natural surroundings.

This way, even if you're inside, you can still feel one with nature.

We're also in awe of the cedar gazebo found on an island surrounded by a private lake.

We like their wedding packages because you have the option to choose your vendors with one, or you can choose an all-inclusive package.

One downside though is that the all-inclusive package isn't exactly "all-inclusive" as it doesn't include a photographer. They do, however, give great recommendations.

We think that you should definitely go and consider this location. We have a feeling that you'll love it as much as we do!

7F Lodge is a wedding ceremony and events place located in the midst of 14 acres. The place also offers a bed and breakfast with timeless architecture that makes the place romantic.

The venue combines romance, seclusion and natural beauty, and we absolutely love this.

They have a white, rustic chapel in a garden. Across this chapel is the pavilion acts as the perfect backdrop for a wedding.

We think their bed & breakfast is also the perfect place for couples and guests to stay and enjoy a full weekends' worth of wedding festivities.

What's great is that they make booking the place so easy. Their staff is also some of the most helpful people who understand how hectic weddings can be. They're there to make this so much more easier!

Many past customers who have had their weddings here can only say the best things about their experience at 7F Lodge, so we highly recommend this place!

The Estates at Pecan Park is a timeless and picturesque 11,000 sq. ft. estate that's perfect for various occasions.

We think that the place is absolutely stunning. It also has great amenities like a Texas sized bridal suite, grooms suite, private suites, indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception sites, and so much more!

We like that they offer various packages with their inclusions lined up. You can choose a package depending on the number of guests you plan on having. If you simply want to rent the venue with no other inclusions then you have that option too.

Above their packages, they also offer rentals like an outdoor bar, photo camper, photo booth, donut bar, and chandeliers to name some.

We also highly recommend them for their team. All of them are professionals and are very helpful all throughout the whole process.

They offer more than a gorgeous venue, but they also offer a type of service that simply show you that all they want is to help you have the most memorable event of your life.

However, we have come across feedback about the venue not being very handicap friendly. We hope they can do something about this in the future for more inclusivity.

All in all, we adore this wedding venue and we can't recommend it enough!

Backed with a wonderfully serene atmosphere and interior, their place is surely an ideal option to hold for couples looking for a natural and intimate wedding venue.

Their past clients have also commended them for the quality of their food and customer service which proves just how pleasant and hassle-free their experience dining experiences are with them.

Lily Reception Hall is one of the best event venues for all occasions, especially weddings.

This family-owned and operated business has been around since 2016 and has been a part of many of memorable events.

We think it's a great place even for those who have many guests as it can seat up to 300 guests!

They have various packages to choose from which we like. Their Basic and Madonna packages are perfect for those who'd like to bring their own food, cake, and DJ, while the Princess and Deluxe Package are more comprehensive.

Besides their venue packages, they even offer a photography and videography package as well as a 360 degree rotating photo booth and margarita machine package.

We find that this is a great choice because it's very spacious, clean and comfortable. So are the bathrooms in the place.

We think they're great for anyone who doesn't want to think too much about planning the entire thing and just want to have a perfect event. Their team is incredible and can be trusted to come up with a memorable experience.

They're very organized and are incredible at managing and coordinating everything.

We can't say anything bad about the food and every other service because they're all too good!

Everything is perfect with Lily Reception Hall—from the venue, food, decoration, and service. We highly recommend!

Lindsay Lakes is an events venue ideal for all sorts of ceremonies, receptions, and private intimate events to make the whole day much more special with a scenic and fresh environment.

We like that they have an accredited list of vendors that they highly recommend for clients availing of their venue which includes various event needs such as florists, security, bartenders, and photographers among others.

Aside from this, they are fully equipped when it comes to the amenities that each event needs wherein their coordinators can also assist clients and offer solutions when it comes to the customization thereof.

Note though that they do not allow outside food and bartending vendors to which outside vendors need to sign a liability waiver before they are approved of operating onsite.

Nonetheless, with their comprehensive and customizable venue amenities and rental packages, collaborative wedding coordinators, and spacious event space for guests, we highly recommend interested clients to check them out.
