Back in the day, I would always skip dining out and just opt to order in at home so I could stay with my dog. After all, hiring someone to dog sit for a few hours is not always easy.
But now that Houston has embraced the world of fur parents, I’m eltaed that restaurants are starting to welcome our furry pals and treat them as VIPs—yes, Very Important Pets, indeed!

What’s great about Good Dog Houston is that their interiors are so charming that they let you and your furbabies relax and feel at home from the get-go.
The staff at Good Dog also brings out water bowls and treats once they see you’ve brought your furry pal with you! All their menu items even have a ‘dog’ word in them, which we think is so cute!
Dog owners often sit on the patio – the two outdoor areas are a good spot to mingle with your co-fur parents and to let dogs play together.
