Pros
- Provides a directory of notaries public
- Offers education and training resources
- Offers networking opportunities
Cons
- Membership fees may be costly
- Limited influence on state-level regulation
The American Association of Notaries has got you covered if you’re in need of a notary. With more notaries than a flock of seagulls has feathers, they’re the place to go.
We love their directory because it’s chock-full of notaries across the country. Plus, their website is easy to navigate, so we won’t be pulling our hair out trying to find someone.
The AAN doesn’t just offer notarization, they also offer networking opportunities. Who knew getting our documents signed could also help us expand our business network?
We gotta say, the AAN doesn’t mess around when it comes to their notaries. These folks are well-trained and know their stuff — we can trust them to handle our important documents with care.
But cost? Well, that’s where things get a little tricky — the AAN does charge membership fees, and they aren’t cheap.
As much as we appreciate what the AAN is doing, their benefits for notaries outside of the directory are also pretty limited.
Moreover, while they have a solid presence, their influence on state-level regulation can be hit or miss.
If you’re in need of a notary, the American Association of Notaries is worth checking out. They’ve got a solid reputation and a wide range of notaries to choose from.

Pros
- Open 24 hours
- Offers military discount
- Accepts Apple Pay
Cons
- Does not accept Android Pay
- Does not accept cryptocurrency
- Limited availability in certain areas
We had the pleasure of using Jay’s Mobile Notary, and we have to say, we’re impressed.
Their availability was second to none. We were able to schedule an appointment with them on short notice and they were more than accommodating with our schedules.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and professional staff member who walked us through the process. The notary who assisted us was incredibly knowledgeable.
We like that they even went above and beyond by providing some extra advice we hadn’t considered in the past.
We’re surprised to find that Jay was very affordable. Compared to some of the other notary services we’ve used before, Jay’s prices were very reasonable.
Moreover, if you find yourself needing a document notarized at 2am, just remember, Jay has got your bleary-eyed back!
But Jay’s Mobile Notary doesn’t accept Android Pay or cryptocurrency. We guess you’ll just have to stick with good old-fashioned cash like it’s the 2000s.
In addition, while Jay is a great convenience, do note their availability may be limited in some areas. It can be a bit of a downside if you’re not within their service radius.
Despite these drawbacks, we highly recommend Jay Notary Services to anyone in need of professional and affordable notaries. Their professionalism and cost-effectiveness make them stand out.

- Availability outside of regular business hours
Cons
- Higher cost than non-mobile notary services
- Limited geographical coverage
In the bustling metropolis of Houston, where time is money and convenience is king, one service reigns: Houston Notary and Apostille Solutions.
HNAS is available 24/7. It’s a huge plus for us with busy schedules.
We love their team because they’re highly professional and knowledgeable. They’re patient and courteous, which makes the process a breeze, especially for first-timers.
Need a notary at midnight? HNAS has got you covered like a well-stamped document.
We’re thoroughly impressed by their availability. We thought they’re nocturnal beings with a passion for authentication.
Additionally, HNAS has been in business for many years, and their expertise shows. They’re confident and efficient, which gives us peace of mind.
While they provide a clear and concise breakdown of their pricing, their fees are a bit steep. Their fees left us feeling like we need to notarize our wallets too.
In addition, if you’re outside their range, you’re out of luck (and stamps). It’s a good thing they’re not trying to notarize Mars yet, or we’d really be in trouble.
Overall, Houston Notary and Apostille Solutions is the rockstar of document authentication. They’re reliable, efficient, and always ready to notarize and apostille your papers like a supreme boss.

Pros
- Specialization in real estate and loan document signing
- Expertise in handling apostille services
Cons
- Not a cost-effective option for basic notary needs
- Availability may be limited based on scheduling
As customers who have had to scramble for a notary at the last minute, we’re relieved to discover Lucia Notary Services. We needed a notary to witness our signature on some legal documents, and they came to our rescue.
When we contacted Lucia, we’re impressed by their availability. They were able to schedule an appointment with us and worked around our busy schedules.
They were very professional and it was evident from the start. They arrived on time and were well-prepared with all the documents, which we love to bits.
During the process, Lucia exhibited a high level of expertise and attention to detail. They made sure we understood everything we were signing and answered any questions we had.
Their specialized knowledge in real estate and loan document signing was valuable. It gave us peace of mind that everything was being done correctly.

Moreover, Lucia is so in-demand, they’re like the Beyoncé of notaries. Be prepared to book in advance if you don’t want to be left in the dust like the rest of the Beyhive.
