Pros
- Plenty of services available
- Can tint any make
- Quick and reliable auto inspection
- Also offers home and office tinting
- Fair quotes and prices on services
Cons
- Complex operating hours
We have to give credit where it’s due since Royal Tint & Glass offers a wide array of services in their arsenal. They not only tint car and home windows, but they also offer auto glass, car inspections, and paint protection, too.
The best thing about Royal is that everything they do is quick and precise. We had them install a 20% tint and inspect our car for damage, and it only took us two or so hours. Everything they did was spotless and accurate, and we didn’t have to pay much, too.
However, we do have to say that although they offer stellar services, their operating hours need some getting used to, especially if it’s your first time.
And the best part? You can get any car tinted, no matter what the make! From Ferrari Testarossas to a lowly Geo Metro, they can (and will!) tint it. This gives them that “royal” aura, unlike other window tinting shops in Houston.

Pros
- Quick installation time on tints
- Plenty of services offered
- Great custom work
- Auto security installation is solid
- Llumar Formula One tint is a must-pick for privacy
Cons
- First-come-first-served
XPert Tint and Auto Glass Alarms are truly “experts” in their field, as their quality service and precise methods make them one of the better window tinting shops in Houston we’ve seen by far.
The car that we bought to get tinted was just a small hatchback, and it took about 30 minutes for them to finish tinting. That, with the fact that it didn’t cost an arm and a leg, made us happy with the overall service.
In our opinion, you should get Llumar tint for any of your cars. It has that perfect amount of privacy and can also fully protect you from the harsh Houston. Plus, it can last for a long time since it’s made with a specialty formula so it’ll last for a long time, too.
Though their services are great, we do have to note that you’ll need to go there early. XPert Auto And Tint uses a first-come-first-served basis, and it’ll take some time before you get to your service.
But once you get to your appointment, you won’t be disappointed. And if you have an older car, you’ll be glad to hear that they can also install a burglar alarm for your car, too!

Pros
- Great for trucks/large vehicle owners
- Reasonable price and fast service
- Bed linings are impeccably installed
- Ceramic tint is effective at repelling heat
Cons
- Limited services
Elite Texas goes all out when it comes to their pickup services. They offer pickup accessories, yes, but their bed linings are also really good, too. We got our pickup’s bed lined, and it made it more stable compared to before.
And we also have their ceramic tint a shout-out, too! It is a must-get, especially if you have a bigger car. It can help make your car look that much more imposing while also offering privacy and deterring the harsh Houston heat.
If we have something to nitpick about Elite Texas, it’s that they’re a one-trick pony compared to other window tinting shops in Houston. They can be great if you want a tint or some accessories for your SUV, yes – but they can be lackluster in other fields.
Don’t get us wrong though – what they do, they do well. And offer their excellent service at a reasonable price, without costing an arm and a leg!

Pros
- Really good tint for the Texas sun
- They provide a demo of their tints beforehand
- Tons of tint choices to choose from
- Helpful and professional crew
- Great lounge you can relax in
Cons
- Tint choices can be pricey
- Closed on Sundays
If you want to work with one of the leading window tinting businesses in Houston, then Executive Tints should be one of your go-tos. We’ve seen what they have to offer, and we can tell just why they’re so well-known.
They offer 3M and BlackMax Tints, which is great because they both come with lifetime warranties. Most of their tints are applied via SunTek Core software, which leaves a clear and more precise finish.
Their lounge is amazing, too! We stepped inside and were amazed by the fluffiness of the chairs and the cozy vibe of the place. It helps kill time while waiting for our tint job to finish.
We also appreciate the fact that they can show you which tint matches your car the best. Since not all tints have the same hue, this little gesture can help you know which tint color suits your car’s color.
That, and the fact that you can choose from 3M, SunTek, and Blackmax makes it stand out from other window tinting services in Houston altogether. You’ll feel like an “executive” when you get your car tinted at Executive Tints.
But with the executive treatment comes executive prices, too. Good thing we came with a stacked wallet and a prayer, because their quotes were more expensive than we expected.
The good news is that you can expect your tints to last in Houston heat, even though it’s a bit more expensive.

Pros
- Lifetime warranty on tints
- High-quality window tint brands
- Long-lasting tints
- Truck accessories are top notch
Cons
- Quotes are expensive
From the get-go, we were impressed with the tints that Infinity Tint & Alarms Inc. have to offer. You have a choice between 3M, Solar Gard, and Llumar – three well-known and reliable window tint brands.
We went in there to get our SUV tinted and maybe also buy some pickup accessories listed on their websites. We’re happy to report that everything they have – from the Nerf bars to trailer hitches – has a quality, robust feel to it that’s worth the asking price.
One good thing that we also have to note is that they offer a lifetime warranty on their tints. You can return to them any time the tint gets all bubbly, so long as you have the receipt.
Though they do offer quality services, you’d also have to pay quality price, too. Their quotes are much higher than we expected, but their installation process makes everything worth it.
Ultimately though, everything that they offer is really good. The side step and trailer hitch that we bought for our Bronco has that quality feel, too!
