Is there an all-you-can-eat section at Minute Maid Park?
There is no longer an all-you-can-eat section at Minute Maid Park, but there used to be. The former all-you-can-eat at Minute Maid Park was the Chevy Mezzanine seating (section 250 – 255), but this has not been all-you-can-eat for years now.
Despite the lack of an all-you-can-eat section, there are still two concession stands on this level where spectators may get their fill of ballpark food. If you want to learn more, read on.
What is the mezzanine level at Minute Maid Park?
Mezzanine Seats are the outfield seats that are the least expensive and provide a decent view of any Astros game or event. While these seats are far out from the home plate, it is a nice area to hang out with a group and watch the game.
Up to 17 rows of seats may be found in the Mezzanine. There won’t be much of a difference in the view from any of the rows because of how far away they are from the infield.
Keep in mind, though, that it will be tough to see plays far in the outfield from any section. Moreover, if you sit in the Chevy Mezzanine section, you won’t be able to see the scoreboard.
What food can I get on the Mezzanine level?
The food that you can get on the Mezzanine level varies from Tex-Mex to traditional baseball game food such as, hotdogs, pretzels and more.
Here are the restaurants and concession stands serving food on the Mezzanine level:
El Tiempo
El Tiempo is a Tex-Mex joint with over twenty years of experience in the Houston area that sets up shop in the Mezzanine and Center Field at Minute Maid Park.
Tacos with fajita steak, chicken, and carnitas are served alongside fresh tortillas cooked in-house and traditional frozen margaritas are also available to anyone watching the game.
Tostitos Walking Nacho’s
Tostitos Walking Nacho’s concession stand makes nachos out of Doritos, queso blanco, pico de gallo, and crema, plus your choice of red or green chicken, or pork carnitas. Their nachos are reasonably priced and come in decent sized game day portions.
Hornitos Tequila Bar
Hornitos Tequila Bar caters to tequila connoisseurs with a wide selection of premium tequilas, as well as beer.
Fastball Foods
Fastball Foods is a traditional ballpark food service with a self-ordering platform. You can purchase traditional foods such as hot dogs, sausages, nachos, pretzels, and peanuts.
