Former Houston Texans quarterback, Matt Schaub, owned a $4.29 million Tanglewood residence, according to Houston Culture Map

Situated at 5620 Bordley Drive, this traditional-style residence stands on a lot spanning over 26,000 square feet. As you step inside the grand reception hall, you are greeted by an elegant spiral wrought-iron staircase, setting the tone for the grandeur that awaits.

When it comes to choosing a place to call home, Houston Texans players have a variety of options. One location that has caught the attention of some players, including rookie safety Jalen Pitre, is the peaceful community of Stafford, Texas. 

Located a short distance from NRG Stadium, where the Texans play their home games, Stafford provides a convenient commute for players. The town features parks and green spaces where players can engage in outdoor activities.

According to an interview with ESPN, Jalen’s decision to stay in the area is mainly because he wanted to stay at home with his family who he lives with. This stems from his desire to be financially responsible and avoid spending large sums on rent. 

The Pitre family’s house is located approximately 20 minutes from NRG Stadium, where the Texans play, and it has been their home since 2000.

Bellaire

Bellaire offers an upscale residential experience in close proximity to Houston’s urban core. The neighborhood showcases a blend of architectural styles, including luxurious estates, sprawling bungalows, and contemporary residences. 

Residents appreciate Bellaire’s top-rated schools, parks, and  wide array of amenities, including shopping and gourmet options.

According to an interview with Realtor Donna Wilson of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, a former Houston Texans player, suspected to be Nicholas Martin,  used to have a home in Bellaire. 

The property is now on the market for $2,100,000 located at 4532 Elm Street.
