5 Best Permanent Makeup Studios in Houston for a Wake-Up-Ready Face

best-permanent-makeup-houston
  • Artistic Versatility: I looked for studios that can do more than one brow or lip look. Good artists know how to work with different faces, not force everyone into the same template.

  • Safety and Hygiene: Cosmetic tattooing and shortcuts don’t mix. I prioritized clean studios with trained, certified practitioners.

  • Pricing Transparency: Surprise bills are never a good look. I favored studios that clearly explain service prices and touch-up costs.

  • Medical Cosmetic Services: Some clients need more than a beauty boost. I highlighted studios offering paramedical tattooing and scar camouflage.

  • Client Satisfaction: Reviews tell you plenty once the marketing fluff is stripped away. I focused on studios praised for communication, care, and finished results.

Waking up with polished brows and tinted lips? That’s one less battle with the makeup bag before coffee!

Finding the best permanent makeup in Houston comes down to choosing makeup artists who know faces, not just trends. Houston has plenty, so narrowing them down takes a little digging.

I looked for studios with strong artistry, careful technique, and happy clients. Here are the spots worth checking out when you’re ready to make your morning routine gloriously lazy.

How much does getting permanent makeup cost in Houston?

Permanent makeup in Houston generally costs around $440 to $1,362 per service. Prices depend on the treatment, technique, and artist’s experience.

Lip blush tends to reach the highest prices, at up to $1,362. Brow services can cost as much as $1,135, depending on the style.

Eyeliner ranges from about $440 to $1,100. Cosmetic freckles typically fall between $440 and $1,056.

More experienced artists and advanced techniques usually sit at the higher end of these ranges. Touch-ups may be priced separately, so check what’s included before booking.

1. Dermaluxe Spa

dermaluxe-spa

Website

Address: 7670 Woodway Dr, Suite 268

Contact: 832-377-0030 | [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM | Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM

Dermaluxe Spa is led by founder Kashia Buks, a master permanent makeup artist with more than 20 years in the beauty industry.

Her background includes advanced PMU training, scar camouflage, and paramedical tattooing. The studio offers nano brows, lip blush, permanent eyeliner, and other cosmetic tattoo services.

I like that its brow techniques aren’t one-size-fits-all, since nano brows can work well for clients with mildly oily or combination skin.

Dermaluxe is especially worth a look if you need more restorative work. Its medical tattooing services include scar camouflage and 3D areola restoration with customized pigment matching.

The main catch is the booking policy. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required, and rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice means losing it and paying another deposit to rebook.

Pros

  • Over 20 years of beauty industry experience
  • Offers nano brows, lip blush, and permanent eyeliner
  • Provides scar camouflage and 3D areola restoration
  • Techniques suited to different skin types
  • Customized pigment matching available

Cons

  • $100 nonrefundable deposit required
  • Less than 72 hours’ notice forfeits the deposit
  • Another deposit is needed to rebook after late rescheduling

Guided Brow Consultation and On-Time Appointments

I’m thrilled with my choice of Kashia for my permanent eyebrows. She offered excellent guidance on the best service for me and was clear about the process, expectations, and aftercare. I researched several venues before selecting Dermaluxe, and Kashia’s experience and dedication were evident through her thoughtful questions and information. The facility is well-maintained, clean, and easy to locate. I received timely reminders, and my appointments always started on time.

Natural Brows Tailored to Face Shape

I cannot recommend Kashia enough! She used a combination of techniques to create my perfect brows, and the results are even better than I ever could have imagined. Not only is she incredibly skilled and detail-oriented, but she also made the entire process so comfortable and easy. My brows look so natural and perfectly suited to my face shape. If you’re considering permanent brows, she’s the best!

2. BEAT & BLADE

beat-blade

Website

Address: 2990 Richmond Avenue #432

Contact: (832) 377-5677 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 5 PM – 10 PM | Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM

BEAT & BLADE stands out for more than brows and lips. Its services include 3D areola tattooing, scar camouflage, stretch-mark camouflage, and scalp micropigmentation.

On the beauty side, you’ll find lip blush and several brow techniques for different looks.

I like that touch-ups are built into some services, which makes the pricing easier to understand upfront.

The studio is especially worth considering if you want cosmetic and paramedical tattooing under one roof. Its scalp and camouflage services give clients options beyond the usual PMU menu.

The downside is that previous brow work can make booking less straightforward. Older pigment may need paid color or shape correction, and tougher cases can require saline removal before fresh work begins.

Pros

  • Offers cosmetic and paramedical tattooing
  • Provides lip blush and multiple brow techniques
  • Some services include touch-up sessions
  • Offers scar and stretch-mark camouflage
  • Provides 3D areola tattooing and scalp micropigmentation

Cons

  • Existing brow tattoos may require paid correction
  • Some clients may need saline removal before new brow work
  • Previous pigment can mean extra appointments and added cost

Address: 17045 El Camino Real Suite 227

Contact: [email protected] | (832) 985-2368

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM | Saturday, 8 AM – 3 PM

Inked & Blinked brings a softer, more polished take on permanent makeup. Christina’s England-trained smoky eyeliner and pixelated airbrush brows are designed for clients who want definition without harsh lines.

The studio handles brows, eyeliner, and lip work, including dark-lip neutralization for melanin-rich lips.

I like that its techniques lean toward shaded, machine-based results rather than an overly drawn-on finish.

You can book multiple procedures together, which may make sense if you want to tackle more than one area at once.

Its eyeliner menu is especially flexible, ranging from subtle lash enhancement to bolder winged looks.

Do note that traditional hand-method microblading isn’t offered here. If that’s the brow style you specifically want, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Pros

  • Offers pixelated airbrush brows and smoky eyeliner
  • Provides dark-lip neutralization for melanin-rich lips
  • Machine-based techniques create softer, shaded results
  • Multiple procedures can be booked together
  • Eyeliner styles range from subtle to winged

Cons

  • Traditional hand-method microblading isn’t offered

Comfortable First PMU Experience with Custom Colors

I was extremely nervous about getting permanent makeup. Christina made me feel so comfortable and at ease before and during the entire process. She explained everything that would happen during the recovery thoroughly. She custom blended the eye and lip liner colors i was going for. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. My only regret was not getting my bottom eyeliner done also, but there’s always next time! I will definitely be utilizing her services again. Wonderful experience!

Eyeliner and Lip Blush Worth Referring

Great work!  Christina is so kind and professional. She takes great care of her clients. Christina has done my upper and lower eyeliner and lip blush. SO happy with the results. I referred my mother-in-law to Christina for a “full face” (eyebrow liner and lips).  She was very impressed with Christina and her work. I recommend Christina to anyone who’s interested in getting permanent makeup.

4. Bre’s Everlasting Beauty

bres-everlasting-beauty

Website

Address: 9432 Katy Fw Suite 450

Contact: +(713) 851-0337 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM | Saturday, 10 AM – 3 PM

Bre’s Everlasting Beauty is led by Brenda Garcia, a former registered nurse with a background in perioperative care.

That medical experience pairs nicely with her permanent makeup training and focus on clean, careful technique.

The studio offers brows, eyeliner, and corrective work, with top or bottom eyeliner starting at $275.

I like that Brenda doesn’t push one brow style on everyone, especially since powder brows can be a better fit for oily skin.

She can handle older work too, including shape and color correction when previous pigment needs a rescue mission. That makes the studio useful for both first-timers and clients fixing past PMU.

However, the $85 touch-up rate is reserved for existing clients. Work done elsewhere may need a higher-priced correction service instead.

Pros

  • Led by a former registered nurse
  • Offers brows, eyeliner, and corrective PMU work
  • Powder brows available for oily skin
  • Provides shape and color correction
  • Existing-client touch-ups start at $85

Cons

  • $85 touch-up pricing is limited to existing clients

5. Her Velvet Hand

her-velvet-hand

Website

Address: 11300 Katy Freeway, Suite B-600

Contact: 1-832-553-6323

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Her Velvet Hand is led by Courtney Maguire, a cosmetic tattoo artist with more than a decade of experience and international training.

Her specialty in nano brows makes this a strong pick if you want soft definition without a blocky finish.

The studio handles brows, eyeliner, lip blush, and tattoo removal using laser or saline methods. I like that it can work with clients who’ve lost brow hair from alopecia, chemotherapy, or other causes.

Courtney’s background spans training in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, which gives the menu plenty of technique-driven variety. The studio can recreate fuller-looking brows while keeping the result natural and face-specific.

The price might give you pause, though. Lip blush can run up to $950, with a follow-up session typically adding another $150.

Pros

  • Led by a cosmetic tattoo artist with 10+ years of experience
  • International training in the U.S., Canada, and Europe
  • Specializes in nano brows
  • Offers brows, eyeliner, lip blush, and tattoo removal
  • Can help recreate fuller-looking brows after hair loss

Fresh Combo Brows After Laser Removal

Courtney is the absolute best permanent brow artist in Houston.  She’s detailed, patient, and honest with her clients.  The Studio is warm and inviting.  After years of tinting and shaping over an old eyebrow tattoo, I finally took the leap and let her laser remove the old ink and got a new, fresh set.  I’m in love with the results.  Please do not let the bargain-price brow artist work on your face.  All the artists at HVH are worth it!  10/10. Photo includes my brows after laser removal and immediately after the first round of combo brows.

Natural Brows with a Pre-Tattoo Preview

I had the absolute best experience with Bri the other day!! She was so sweet and kind! listened to what I hoped for and what my concerns were, and 1000% delivered!! I was a little nervous going into my appointment as I had never done anything so permanent before. But Bri explained the process in its entirety and showed me what my brows would look like before any tattooing had begun, so I knew I was going to be happy with the results! They are even better than expected, super natural looking! Bri is great- book her now!!
