1. Restore Hyper Wellness River Oaks

Website: https://www.restore.com/locations/tx-houston-river-oaks-tx007
Address: 1944 West Gray Street
Contact: 18327429695
Hours: Monday-Friday: 10 AM-7 PM; Saturday: 9 AM-6 PM; Sunday: 10 AM-6 PM
If you want infrared sauna sessions bundled with cryotherapy and IV drip therapy, Restore Hyper Wellness River Oaks offers a full menu of wellness services.
Their infrared sauna is part of a broader recovery setup focused on overall wellness and body recovery. You can also pair your sauna session with red light treatments or localized muscle care after a hard workout.
A client even told us the staff patiently walked them through the different services and how everything worked.
However, the franchise atmosphere can feel a bit corporate, so it may lack the cozy feel of a smaller wellness studio.
The place also works more as a general wellness hub than a dedicated sauna sanctuary, which may not appeal to people seeking a sauna-focused experience.

My highlight was the hour spent in their infrared sauna
I recently indulged in a rejuvenating hour at Restore Hyper Wellness in River Oaks, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.
My highlight was the hour spent in their infrared sauna, a serene oasis where I could unwind and detoxify. The sauna was impeccably clean, and the provided towel, robe, and water added an extra touch of comfort to the session.

The rest of her staff are amazing, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with
By far the best place to come in Houston to tune your body to absolute perfection. I came in first to fix my sleep cycles with IR sauna, PBM and Cryotherapy (which are amazing btw). However, they offer so much more that aids my muscle recovery, muscle growth, fat loss, stress and anti-aging, just to name a few. Kat is an absolute treasure who’s extremely knowledgeable and welcoming and will brighten your day every time you come in. The rest of her staff are amazing, knowledgeable and a joy to work with.

2. Tulum Wellness Spa

Website: https://www.tulumwellness.com/

Contact: (832) 707-0407
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Closed Sunday-Monday
Tulum Wellness Spa puts a fresh spin on traditional wellness by combining infrared heat sessions with a calm, Tulum-inspired atmosphere and salt room access.
This boutique spa gives you a relaxing escape where you can pair your sauna session with restorative massage therapy.
Inside the sauna cabins, the gentle heat creates a calming experience that can help you unwind while supporting your overall wellness. Plus, the salt room gives you another way to relax before or after your session.
However, the spa closes on Sundays and Mondays, which can make weekend visits harder to plan.
Additionally, their strong focus on general spa treatments may not satisfy serious heat enthusiasts looking for a more intense, dedicated sauna setup.

The salt room and infrared sauna that we had access to before our massages were very nice!
I booked a spa day for all of my family to get massages at Tulum for my mom’s birthday and they were so welcoming and accommodating. Everyone raved about their massages and it was such a relaxing way to start our celebration that day. The salt room and infrared sauna that we had access to before our massages were very nice! Booking and confirming was made easy and simple when working with Miah! Thank y’all

I started with the infrared sauna as a complimentary service – loved it!
It’s a great place to relax and treat yourself! I started with the infrared sauna as a complimentary service – loved it! I then had a massage with Daniel which was very relaxing and he did a great job. I finished off with a Lux Facial with Alyssa and it felt so good I started a new skin care routine. Will definitely be back!

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Centering the experience on contrast therapy, Löyly Sauna Lounge combines full-spectrum infrared cabins with invigorating hot and cold plunges.
We spoke with a regular member who visited recently, and they told us the contrast cycles helped ease their muscle tension.
They also treat sauna sessions as a social experience, offering communal co-sweat rooms and community breathwork events. Plus, you can enjoy a powerful sweat while spending time in a lively, community-focused lounge.
However, the social setup may feel less appealing if you prefer quiet, solo relaxation.
Additionally, limited afternoon hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays make morning visits impossible on those days.

Website: https://www.perspiresaunastudio.com/locations/the-heights
Address: 1111 Shepherd Drive, Suite 500
Contact: (713) 808-1184 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Providing private infrared sauna suites paired with medical-grade red light therapy, Perspire Sauna Studio focuses on individual comfort and relaxation.
Each private cabin here lets you control your own entertainment and temperature settings, giving you a more personalized way to unwind.
Plus, the studio can easily fit into a well-rounded fitness routine. Long daily operating hours also make it simple to stop by before work or later in the evening.
Unfortunately, the focus on infrared sauna sessions means there aren’t traditional steam options.
To add, the private setup can feel less social than the lively lounge atmosphere found at larger bathhouse locations.

Private sauna suites, well maintained, and super clean!
This place is amazing! I knew I needed to do saunas for detox but couldn’t bear the idea of being in a crowded gym sauna with ladies fully dressed in their workout clothes and even wearing their vinyl sneakers. (High heat, Lycra, and vinyl are not a good detoxing combo – but I digress!) Then, a friend introduced me to this place, several months ago and it has become a part of my wellness routine, multiple times a week.
Private sauna suites, well maintained, and super clean! What a blessing to have this medical grade, infrared sauna technology so accessible.

The infrared sauna experience itself was fantastic
I had an amazing first experience at Perspire The Heights. Their first-time session is only $20, which is such a great way to try it out.
From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything in detail, which made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of.
The infrared sauna experience itself was fantastic. The cabins are private, include chromotherapy, and you can use the TV to play whatever you want. I spent part of the session meditating and listening to a podcast, which made it even more relaxing.

5. ALBI Wellness & Longevity

Website: https://albiwellness.com/
Address: 2202 West Alabama Street, Suite C
Contact: 281-520-3722 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Merging infrared and ozone sauna options with science-backed longevity therapies, ALBI Wellness & Longevity takes a more advanced approach to wellness.
Their private sauna capsules introduce activated oxygen during sessions, making the experience different from a traditional sauna routine. You can also combine your heat therapy with hyperbaric oxygen or pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) sessions.
Plus, weekend availability makes it easier to maintain your wellness routine around a busy workweek.
However, the sauna can feel secondary to the center’s broader medical optimization programs, which may not suit people mainly looking for sauna therapy.
Also, they don’t offer morning hours on Sundays, so early weekend recovery sessions aren’t an option.

I came in for the ozone sauna which was a 10/10 heavy sweat nice detox session
First and foremost I want to say a huge thank you to the owner Tarikh for his hospitality and going above and beyond not only for myself but also for all my friends today that I made on my first visit today. I came in for the ozone sauna which was a 10/10 heavy sweat nice detox session. Then I was able to try the cold plunge for the first time which was an exhilarating experience.

Today it was the ozone sauna and oxygen therapy
I’ve been coming regularly for 3 months and the membership is the way to go. Today it was the ozone sauna and oxygen therapy. Both left me relaxed and rejuvenated. Albi is always clean, and a phenomenal quiet zone in this maddening, overstimulated world we live in. I so appreciate coming and having the opportunity to detox, relax, and zone out. The healing benefits are why I come but it’s the rejuvenation that stays with me. One of my favorites now, the sound healing/vibro acoustic therapy.
