While they do have a variety of window designs, we found that they specialize in custom orders, allowing customers to create their own unique window style.

However, for inexperienced DIYers, their customization options may be difficult to understand. We also noted the prices for window repairs fall on the expensive side. 

Still, from what we observed, the customer service provided by Renaissance is excellent. Their staff go the extra mile to make sure that customers are satisfied with their purchase. 

We loved that Renaissance’s experts provide valuable advice and guidance about window repair installation and care. They also offer their clientele a variety of warranties and guarantees to ensure protection from defects and other issues.

Although their window measurements are accurate, the installation process can be a little time-consuming. 

We also found the order in which they conducted the window repairing process to be inefficient, with some areas not being properly addressed. This isn’t great because it demonstrates a rushed window repair job which can result in gaps in the windows.

For our part, what we love about the company is that they use both fine glass and advanced techniques to provide high-quality work.

Moreover, the staff at AJ Glass & Window Repair seemed knowledgeable and experienced when we visited them. They took the time to provide us with all the information we could want even after lengthy questioning.

One concern we had, though, was with the actual window repair installation.We noted their window installers rush when they put the glass in our window frames.

This isn’t great because if the window installer causes damage, AJ glass and window repair doesn’t offer a replacement frame. They also don’t provide refunds in case of damage – and though we found no damage in our window, it’s something to consider.

When we sent out our call for window repair service recommendations, we were told that the specialists at Glass Doctor of Houston provide some of the best glass repair and replacement services in Houston. Naturally, we checked them out ourselves. 

It didn’t go perfectly. First of all, although Glass Doctor of Houston claims to provide 24 hour services, we found that they were difficult to get a hold of on the phone. 

In fact, many of their calls go straight to voicemail… so you might have to wait a while before hearing back from them. 

Additionally, upon receiving a return call, we thought the customer service was lacking, making it difficult to get answers or resolutions to any issues that may occur with window repairs. 

We did, however, love how they offer customers the chance to design their own glass decor. We believe having customers design their own glass windows is beneficial because it allows for better measurements and dimensions, ensuring that the window fits into its designated space perfectly.

Furthermore, we like that they use tempered, fire-resistant safety and reflective glass. Using such windows for repair replacements are beneficial as these are durable. 

And as for the actual work itself, that was where we couldn’t complain. Their window repair service was thorough and efficient and the window was perfect. 

Houston Window Experts is a family-owned company that has over 12 years of experience. They were described to us as a company that excels at repairing and installing windows in a way that interrupts life as little as possible. 

So, how did they actually stack up in our tests?

We found that the window repair team made every effort with their clients to be on time and show clear communication. Their window repair specialists also displayed a positive attitude all throughout the initial consultation. 

What made Houston Window Experts stand out to us the most though, was the culture of integrity and customer service. Everyone we talked to was professional, kind, and caring – and appeared to have a genuine interest in the project. 

Additionally, the name “Houston Window Experts” is fitting because all of the staff we spoke with demonstrated clear knowledge about the windows repairing process. 

We also took note that their staff stay alongside their clientele every step of the way. They take the time to answer any endless number of questions their clientele come up with. 

One thing that did concern us though is that during the installation process of the repaired windows, the technicians don’t provide any kind of warranty or guarantee on the work. It’s not entirely unusual, but we still prefer warranties, of course.

AM-PM Glass & Mirror specialize in window glass repair and replacement, or so a fair number of people recommending them to us claimed. However, a few others warned us about their rush repairs and the leaky windows left in their homes. 

One of our team members used AM-PM Glass and Mirror’s window repair services for the broken windows in their home to verify which claims were true. 

To start, one of the concerns we had was that they didn’t answer any of our initial phone calls requesting a quote. It took a few tries before we could reach them, and even then, it took a whole hour to speak to anyone. 

Despite this, they were quick in their turnaround time for getting back to us on a quote after we sent in some pictures of the windows that needed to be fixed.

Furthermore, we found it notable how they gave us a courtesy call first to let us know when they were on their way. That was actually a nice touch.

As for the service after that, it was top-notch from start to finish. The technician was extremely friendly and professional, arriving on time and explaining the process clearly. 

We thought it was great that they displayed professionalism and started right away on checking the precise measurements of the broken windows to replace the glass. 

The repair technician was also knowledgeable about the best ways to repair the window in a quick and efficient manner. 

On the whole, we were very pleased with our experience with them. They still performed better than many of the other shops we tested (that didn’t make this article) when we were doing our research.
