Our biggest gripe with Motherhood Center is its hefty price tag for its baby doula service. While it’s one of the most comprehensive doula services on our list, it’s also one of the most expensive ones.

We were delighted to find out that its doula services are among the most affordable services on our list. We also appreciate that it can even accommodate last-minute clients if it has doulas available near your area. 

One of the main things that we disliked about its services overall is that additional fees and charges may be made depending on specific situations or how far your place is.

One of the few things that we disliked about its services is that it required an initial deposit to secure your due date on its calendar. There could be a concern if your due date clashes with another or if it happens sooner or later than expected.

We also love that you can access each of its resources on its basic doula package. These can range from 24/7 phone support all the way to childbirth photography, which makes the Doula Companion one of the most affordable full-service doulas. 

We didn’t like that it lacked a physical location, so in most cases, you’d still need to spend on booking a hospital room or dedicate a room in your house for the birth. This may add unexpected expenses that aren’t included with the doula service. 

We also disliked that compared to other doulas on our list, the Doula Companion has the least amount of experience. This could be a cause for concern if you’re a first-time mother or if something unexpected happens.
