We had the most divine dining experience at Niko Niko’s! As Greek myth fanatics, we couldn’t resist visiting this place named after the god of victory.

Their menu is as vast as the Aegean Sea. From savory gyros to crispy falafel, there’s something for everyone.

We opted for the lamb shank, which was so tender it must’ve been blessed by Zeus himself. The flavors were so bold and distinct we felt like we were dining on Mount Olympus.

The real star was the ambiance. The restaurant’s decor was a mythological paradise.

From the azure blue walls to the white marble countertops, every detail was carefully curated to transport you to the land of the gods. We loved the sweet sound of bouzouki, making us feel like we were dancing with the Muses.

The service was equally impressive. Our server was a guardian angel, guiding us through the menu and offering divine recommendations.

She was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy my meal.

We were a bit disappointed to discover that Niko Niko’s doesn’t have a happy hour though. We mean, who doesn’t love a good deal on drinks and appetizers?

And to top it off, there’s no waiter service, so you have to order at the counter.

As foodies, we were excited to try Athena’s Greek and European Kitchen. From the moment we stepped inside, we instantly felt its warm and inviting atmosphere.

The menu at Athena’s offers a variety of Greek and European dishes, and we were like a kid in a candy store trying to decide what to order. We finally settled on the lamb gyro, a classic Greek dish that didn’t disappoint.

The tender lamb was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the tzatziki sauce and warm pita bread. We also couldn’t resist their spanakopita, a spinach and feta-filled pastry that was so flaky it would make the gods jealous.

The flavors were just as impressive as the presentation, and it was clear the chefs at Athena’s take great care in crafting each dish. We felt like we were experiencing divine intervention as we savored each bite.

Moreover, their staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like valued guests. They even took the time to explain the history and myth behind some of the dishes, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

But, Athena’s has no reservations. You’ll have to roll the dice and hope for the best when you show up.

They also don’t have any outdoor seating. If you were hoping to soak up some sun or people-watch while you dine, you’ll have to settle indoors.

Overall, we recommend Athena’s Greek and European Kitchen to anyone looking for a heavenly dining experience. The food is fit for the gods, the ambiance is divine, and the service is nothing short of heroic.

We visited Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine in Houston. The decor was ornate with golden accents and Mediterranean flair and we half expected Aphrodite to walk in any minute.

They have an incredible variety of dishes, all with unique and bold flavors. We started with the Saganaki, a flaming cheese dish that was so delicious it would make Dionysus blush.

Then came the hummus, tzatziki, and baba ghanouj with warm pita bread. We felt like we were on Mount Olympus with the gods themselves.

For my main course, we tried the shawarma plate, which was a true masterpiece. The tender meat was perfectly seasoned and the rice pilaf was cooked to perfection.

We also tasted the falafel plate, which was crispy and flavorful. It was so good, it would make Athena proud.

The service was top-notch. Their staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

However, we tried to make a reservation at Aladdin’s and we were disappointed. Apparently, they don’t take reservations.

We were also ready to pay for our meals with our fancy Apple Pay, but it turns out they don’t accept it. Looks like we’ll have to dig through our purses for some ancient relics known as “cash” and “cards.”

Despite these hiccups, we had an amazing experience at Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine. It’s a true gem in Houston, and we can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

It’s like Fadi’s went to Mount Olympus and brought back all the Mediterranean goodness they could find. From Greek gyros to Lebanese kafta, everything was so flavorful and fresh we felt like we were dining with the gods.

The hummus was a particular standout for us; it was so creamy and tangy we could feel Athena’s wisdom flowing through us with every bite.

And don’t even get us started on the ambiance. It’s like Fadi’s has taken a page from Aphrodite’s book on creating an atmosphere that’s both welcoming and romantic.

The dim lighting and warm colors made it the perfect spot for a date or a night out with friends. We even caught ourselves humming some Siren’s songs as we sipped on our wine.

Their staff was so attentive and friendly we felt like we were being served by Hermes himself. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their recommendations were spot on.

Fadi’s is a gastronomic paradise, but alas, no outdoor seating to appease the gods of fresh air and sunshine. If only they invited Apollo to shed his radiance on their patio, it would have been the cherry on top of my dining experience.

And Hermes help us, Fadi’s has another Achilles heel — they’re not pet-friendly. Even Cerberus, Hades’ three-headed dog, would have to stay at home for this one.

All in all, Fadi’s Meyerland Mediterranean Grill is a must-visit restaurant. The variety of menu options, the explosive flavors, the romantic ambiance, and the excellent service make it a wonderful dining experience.

The menu is a true homage to the ancient gods of Greece, with an impressive array of mouth-watering dishes that’ll make your taste buds sing. From the savory gyros to the creamy tzatziki, every bite is a divine experience.

Our personal favorite was the Aphrodite salad. It was bursting with fresh veggies and drizzled with a heavenly olive oil dressing.

Arpi’s is more than just a place to eat – it’s an experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a rustic decor that makes you feel like you’re dining in a charming Greek taverna.

The service is impeccable, with friendly staff who are always happy to recommend their favorite dishes.

One of the highlights of our visit was the wine selection. As lovers of all things Dionysian, we were thrilled to see such an extensive list of Greek wines on offer.

The sommelier was knowledgeable and passionate, and helped us choose a delicious red that perfectly complemented our meals.

But, it looks like Zeus himself forgot to make a reservation, because this place is packed! Tables are limited every Friday and Saturday.

There’s no waiter service to be found here, too. You’ll have to channel your inner Hermes and grab your own food!

All in all, our experience at Arpi’s Phoenicia Deli was nothing short of divine. From the variety of the menu to the flavorful dishes, the cozy ambiance to the excellent service, this place truly embodies the essence of Greek hospitality.
