Whether it was a sequence of pipes/connectors to drain a dehumidifier through an external wall… or devising a makeshift cap for a busted pipe during the freezes, these folks go above and beyond to help their customers problem solve. During the freeze of Feb 2021 plumbing supplies were sold out throughout Houston. Nobody had a 3/4” CPVC cap in stock to stop my burst pipe. Mike came up with this creative solution with whatever was in stock to stop my leak until a plumber could be called in. You would never get this level of service at Home Depot or Lowes. And I was in and out of the store in 7 minutes. Thank you so much Mike!”

We love that Settlers Hardware Co. is quite different from other hardware stores, Since 1986, this hardware store has been specializing in antique and reproduction hardware accessories around Houston.

It’s quite impressive that they have the finest collection of vintage-antique hardware. The owner has been traveling around the world to find unique pieces from England, Spain, Turkey, and more, which allows them to have a curated selection.

While the antique selection is outstanding, new hardware tools and equipment are hard to find here. Customers looking for contemporary tools might need to visit another store.

Meanwhile, we commend the customer team for being inviting and warm. Their friendly service enhances the shopping experience and makes customers feel valued.

They have a lumberyard too, and unlike most places will cut plywood for you: a huge time saver.
