Pros

  • Personalized training
  • Experienced instructors
  • No hidden fees

Cons

  • By appointment only
  • Closed on Sundays

MT Driving School is one of the most trusted driving schools in Houston, which is ideal for those who are looking for quality driving instruction.

We liked that this driving school offers a personalized and comprehensive driving course. This made us feel like we could receive expert instruction and personalized advice while driving.

Another thing we appreciated was that they also offer quality services to adults. They also provide unlimited DPS road tests in some of their packages.

We also liked that MT Driving School offers online classes in its driving course. This is especially helpful for those who have tight schedules.

Overall, these made us feel like they’re committed to helping you improve your driving skills at your own pace.

One of the things that we disliked about MT Driving School was its by-appointment-only model. This could be an issue if you’re looking for driving school as soon as possible.

We also disliked that aside from some fixed prices, you must call them for the prices for their driving instruction teen packages. This made us feel like their prices could be random.

All things considered, though, we still think that services are worth the investment. Especially, if you want to drive safely in the busiest streets of Houston.

Pros

  • Spanish speaking instructors
  • Modern cars
  • Driver’s education packages

Cons

  • By appointment only
  • Expensive

The Monroy Driving School is an ideal driving school for those who may want a more comprehensive driving course and don’t mind spending a little more.

Compared to the other driving schools on our list, The Monroy Driving School is one of the priciest options. This may be a cause of concern for those who are looking for a budget-friendly option when learning how to drive.

We think their price is fair because of the additional services that come with each driving education package. Moreover, you can avail of their different package tiers according to which services you think will help you.

We liked that they also provide Spanish-speaking instructors upon request. So, if you’re looking for a driving school that also provides driving courses in Spanish, then the Monroy Driving School is a good choice!

We also liked the various resources they provide their customers. This made us feel like they’re invested in helping you learn how to drive safely on the road.

We disliked their lack of set operating hours and by-appointment-only model, so it can be difficult to arrange a time for the driving lessons. However, their instructors do try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible.

Pros

  • High passing rate
  • Multiple locations
  • In-classroom driver’s education
  • Most affordable

Cons

  • Less experience
  • Not available on Fridays

The Khan Driving Academy is one of the best driving schools for those who are looking for professional yet affordable driver education.

Despite being one of the youngest driving schools in Houston, they still provide quality services with their experienced instructors. This makes us feel like they can provide modern and fresh ideas for driver education.

The best thing about Khan Driving Academy is its pricing structure. Not only do they offer similar services to other driving schools, but they do it cheaper.

Moreover, we appreciate that they still offer in-classroom driver’s education for those who prefer a more traditional way of learning how to drive.

In addition, Khan Driving Academy also has multiple locations in Houston, so it’s easier to find a location that’s close to home or work.

We found it odd that the Khan Driving Academy is closed on Fridays, as they’re still available every other day. This may be a slight cause for concern for those who may want to dedicate Fridays to learning how to drive.

On the other hand, they’re one of the few driving schools that are available on the weekends, which can be more convenient for some people.

Pros

  • Multiple locations
  • Experienced instructors

Cons

  • Set classroom hours
  • No online class option

Road Ready Driving School is one of the best driving schools for those who are looking for state-of-the-art driving lessons in defensive driving. Moreover, its services are available at multiple locations, which also makes them a convenient option.

We like that the Road Ready Driving School has some of the most experienced driving instructors. With each instructor having more than 20 years of experience, we’re confident in their ability to teach.

We’re also happy that their services include refresher courses. This is especially useful for those who want to brush up on their knowledge of driving safety and other concepts.

Overall, we loved that Road Ready Driving School offers this variety of services with their expertise. This made us feel like they’re committed to helping the roads be safer for everyone.

One of the things that we disliked about their services is that each of the driving courses has set classroom hours. This can be a cause for concern for those who may not have flexible schedules.

Moreover, because they don’t offer an online option for all of their driving education classes, it’s even more of a hassle for those with tight schedules.

Pros

  • Online classes
  • Excellent staff

Cons

  • Limited experience
  • By appointment only
  • Expensive

Prime Time Driving School is a good choice of driving school for those who want to improve their driving skills and avoid driver errors.

Their flexible online classes that begin as soon as you enroll is one of their best services. This made us feel like we can pick up learning how to drive without much delay.

Moreover, their friendly and excellent staff was noteworthy, as it was a delight to interact with them. This makes it a lot easier to follow up for information and begin driving lessons.

One of the drawbacks of Prime Time Driving School was its limited experience as a driving school. They’re one of the youngest driving schools without less experienced driving instructors compared to other schools on our list.

We disliked that Prime Time Driving School was also one of the most expensive options for the limited experience of their driving instructors. This doesn’t make us feel particularly confident in their driving courses.

Moreover, we disliked how they provided limited information about the exact processes of their driving course upfront. They only provide such after you enrolled and paid for their services.
