One Dragon Restaurant offers the rich culinary traditions of Shanghai in Houston. It’s a great spot if you want to satisfy your dumpling cravings.

Owned by a Chinese couple who just want to share an authentic Chinese meal experience with Houstonians. Just note that they don’t speak English!

When you’re here, you can try their soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, and pan-fried dumplings. You can also try their other authentic dishes such as fermented fish, braised pork with eggs, and chicken with mushrooms.

But aside from their Shanghai-inspired dishes, they’re also known for their Japanese sushi!

Pro tips: 

  • One Dragon Restaurant doesn’t have cutleries, so you can only use chopsticks if you wish to eat here.
